Create Your First Interview in 5 Minutes

Step-by-step guide to launching AI-powered interviews.

Step 1: Create Interview

  1. Dashboard β†’ aRecruiter

  2. Click "New Interview"

  3. Enter role details:

    • Job title (e.g., "Senior React Developer")

    • Department (Engineering, Sales, etc.)

    • Level (Entry, Mid, Senior, Lead, Executive)

    • Brief description (2-3 sentences about the role)

Step 2: Choose AI Avatar

Pick from 12+ avatars with different styles:

Alex (Default):

  • Style: Professional, warm

  • Best for: General roles, corporate environments

  • Tone: Balanced, encouraging

Jordan:

  • Style: Casual, conversational

  • Best for: Startups, creative roles

  • Tone: Friendly, relaxed

Taylor:

  • Style: Formal, structured

  • Best for: Finance, legal, executive roles

  • Tone: Polished, direct

Morgan:

  • Style: Technical, precise

  • Best for: Engineering, data science

  • Tone: Analytical, detail-oriented

Casey:

  • Style: Energetic, upbeat

  • Best for: Sales, marketing, customer-facing

  • Tone: Enthusiastic, motivating

Riley:

  • Style: Calm, patient

  • Best for: Healthcare, education, support

  • Tone: Empathetic, reassuring

Step 3: Add Questions

Option A: Write Your Own

Add 3-10 questions manually.

Question types:

  • Cultural fit: "What motivates you?"

  1. Click "Generate Questions"

  • Preset language - Force specific language from 27 options

Recording settings:

Step 5: Review & Launch

  1. Preview interview flow

  2. Test with a sample response

  3. Click "Create Interview"
